    Despite the fact that Manchester City is a team that has achieved greatness in recent years, it is a reality that has left its mark on the history of British football. In seasons 92-93 and 93-94, the team wore a purple away jersey that is an icon among City fans. In the 2010-11 season the Citizens brought back this color but featuring an orange sash. The sash was last seen on a City shirt in the 2010/11 campaign. It was a season that sparked the trophy revolution at the Etihad Stadium with the FA Cup win.
